Vacuum/Jet Services - Request for Bids

The Lenoir City Utilities Board (“LCUB”) is now accepting sealed bids for Vacuum / Jet Services for the Water, Gas, and Wastewater systems. The winning bidder should be prepared to begin no later than January 1, 2019. Vendors shall have a bid submittal for an itemized hourly rate for services. Vendors shall be certified in MACP, PACP, and all required qualifications set forth by TOSHA for performance of project assignments. Project shall consist of an ongoing program to maintain service system. The bid consists of the following scope of work:

  • Planning and review of LCUB service system
  • Coordination with contractors, property owners, and LCUB
  • Emergency Standby Services (24/7)
  • Response time restrictions
  • Equipment standard requirements
  • Disposal requirements
  • GIS / Data Collection
  • CCTV Equipment for inspections

All bids shall be placed in a sealed envelope and marked: “Bid for Vacuum/Jet Services.” Bids will be received by LCUB’s Purchasing Agent until 10:00 A.M. (local time) on Thursday, December 13, 2018, and then at said time publicly opened and read aloud. Sale of Surplus Real Property - Depot Street

Lenoir City Utilities Board (“LCUB”) is now accepting sealed and competitive bids for the purchase of surplus real property located at 206 Depot Street in Lenoir City, Tennessee that previously housed LCUB’s Customer Service Office. The property consists of an office building totaling approximately 2,843 square feet with a rear drive-up window and is situated on a 1.64 +- acre site fronting the south side of E. Depot Street and east side of S. Hill Street within the city limits of Lenoir City. Site improvements include asphalt parking and general landscaping.

The successful bidder should be able to close on the property within ten (10) days of LCUB’s notice of award and will be required to pay for the total cost of the property plus all closing costs associated therewith via a certified check. The property consists of one parcel shown to contain approximately 3,563 square feet (0.0818 acre), more or less, as improved by a one-story building containing approximately 2,000 square feet of office space, more or less, with off street parking.

The successful bidder should be able to close on the property within ten (10) days of LCUB’s notice of award and will be required to pay for the total cost of the property plus all closing costs associated therewith via a certified check. Steel Poles - Invitation to Bid

The Lenoir City Utilities Board (“LCUB”) will be accepting sealed bids for (15) 40’ class 4 galvanized steel poles, (5) 50’ class 2 galvanized steel poles, (8) 55’ class 2 galvanized steel poles, and (6) 60’ class 2 galvanized steel poles. LCUB would prefer a welded cap over a plastic cap. Adjustments to quantities are only allowed to maximize shipment weight but no reductions should be made. Specifications for each pole length can be found below:

Replace GOAB Switches - Construction Proposals Requested

Lenoir City Utilities Board invites construction proposals to replace three 69kV GOAB switches and associated equipment at the Fort Loudoun Dam Substation.
