In the late 1930s and early 1940s, LCUB chose to invest in the future by expanding our service territory to answer a need. The commitment was made to serve the electricity needs of our neighbors in, what was at the time, rural West Knox County. This commitment still remains today. We are proud of our service record and remain commited to "going the extra mile for our customers."
