Allen Rollings is the Director of Broadband at LCUB, leading the construction, maintenance, and expansion of fiber optic infrastructure and commercial broadband services.

With more than 15 years of experience in municipal IT and broadband deployment, Allen brings both technical expertise and project management leadership to his role. Prior to LCUB, he served as Senior Network Engineer at Knoxville Utilities Board, where he led a variety of IT, operational technology, and broadband initiatives. He also held technical roles with Brightridge and Alcoa City Schools, supporting network operations and infrastructure development.

Allen earned a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Network Operations and Security from Western Governors University. He also holds multiple industry certifications, including Cisco, Nokia, Mikrotik, CompTIA, Amazon, LPI, and ITIL. Outside of work, Allen is active in his church community, enjoys DIY projects, and studies topics including technology, theology, and history. He values time with his wife, Carly, their four children Kyrie, Piper, Micah, Nina, and extended family.
